The EA Sports FC 27 Web App and the Companion App let you manage your Ultimate Team club without turning on a console — from a browser or from your phone. More importantly, they let you start playing FUT several days before everyone else.
Here you will find the direct link, the expected dates, what you need to get in, and fixes for the problems people actually hit on release day.
Where the Web App is
The official Web App lives at ea.com/ea-sports-fc/ultimate-team/web-app. You sign in with the same EA account you play on.
Until EA opens the FC 27 Web App, that address still shows the previous season.
EA FC 27 dates
| What | When | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Official reveal | 23 July 2026 | Confirmed |
| FUT Web App | 16-17 September 2026 | Expected |
| Companion App (iOS and Android) | 17-18 September 2026 | Expected |
| Early access | 18 September 2026 | EA |
| Full release | 25 September 2026 | Confirmed |
EA has confirmed the release date but not the Web App date. The Web App has historically opened around a week before launch, and a day or two before the Companion App. We update this page as EA confirms.
What you can do from the Web App
- Open your welcome packs and any reward packs
- Buy and sell on the transfer market, including your transfer list and targets
- Complete SBCs and claim the rewards
- Work through objectives
- Build squads and set tactics
- Manage your club: consumables, contracts, duplicates
What you cannot do is play matches. For that you need the console or PC.
What you need to get in
- An EA account with two-factor authentication enabled
- A FUT club created for the current season
- No active Ultimate Team sanctions on your account
- If this is your first FUT season, you have to create the club on console or PC before the Web App will let you in
Get your account ready before release day
This is the part almost nobody does, and it is what costs people the opening days. Access problems on day one are rarely the Web App’s fault — they are account problems, and they are fixable now, calmly, instead of at 6pm on release day.
- Log into your EA account today and check the password still works.
- Check your two-factor setup. Look at which email address or phone number receives the codes, and make sure you still have access to it. An old phone number is the single most common reason people get locked out.
- Check your security question. If you cannot remember it and have to go through support, that is not a five-minute job.
- Confirm the email on the account is one you still use. Plenty of accounts were created years ago with an address that no longer exists.
- Set up your browser in advance. If you use a browser extension on the Web App, install it before the day, not on it.
Common problems on release day
«You do not have a FUT club»
The most common message of the first days. It means you have not created your club for the new season, or EA has not migrated your account yet. Load Ultimate Team once on console or PC and it resolves.
The Web App will not load or shows a blank screen
EA’s servers are hammered on opening day. Before assuming it is your fault: try an incognito window, clear ea.com cookies and temporarily disable browser extensions. If it persists, you are in EA’s queue and waiting is the only fix.
The verification code never arrives
Check your spam folder, and bear in mind SMS delivery slows down badly under release-day load. If the email or phone number on the account is no longer yours, this cannot be fixed on the spot — change it beforehand.
What to do in the first hours
- Open your welcome packs and see what you have before selling anything.
- Sell, do not buy. Prices are at their highest in the opening days because supply is thin and everyone has coins. It is the best moment of the year to sell and the worst to buy.
- Do the objectives you can complete from the Web App. Some rewards do not require playing matches.
- Check the welcome SBCs before you get rid of cards. Some that look useless are exactly what a challenge asks for.
- Hold your duplicates until you have seen which SBCs land. Selling a duplicate you then have to buy back costs you twice.
Getting more out of the Web App
EA’s Web App does the job, but it is thin on the repetitive parts: running the same market search over and over, building SBCs card by card, sorting through club duplicates.
NokaFut is a Chrome extension that sits on top of the Web App and adds saved search filters, duplicates to SBC, an improved squad builder, keyboard shortcuts and a free SBC Solver.
NokaFut is a third-party tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by Electronic Arts. Using external tools on the Web App goes against EA’s terms of service and the decision is yours.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Web App free?
Yes. You need an EA account and a FUT club. You do not need to own the game to use the Web App, only to play matches.
What is the difference between the Web App and the Companion App?
Same thing, different format. The Web App runs in a desktop browser; the Companion App is the iOS and Android app. The Web App usually opens a day earlier.
Is it worth getting in on day one?
Very much so. The market is unsettled, prices move hard, and there are welcome objectives with rewards attached. Anyone playing from the first hour reaches launch day with a noticeably better club.
Do I lose my club from last season?
Each season’s club is separate: in FC 27 you start fresh with a starter squad and welcome packs. What does carry over, when EA offers it, are certain rewards based on what you achieved the previous season.
What is a soft ban and how do I avoid one?
A temporary market lock EA applies when it detects too many actions in a short window — searches back to back, rapid bidding. It lasts anywhere from minutes to hours. Leave gaps between searches and do not chain hundreds of actions without a break.
